Cross Industry Solution Rep IM Portfolio/Sales
As the Information Management Brand Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the Information Management Brand Software Solutions that address your clients business needs (both industry and business) and deliver client value while supporting Information Management specific business strategies.
Preferred candidates will have previous selling experience in one or more of the following: master information solutions, ETL tooling, database or data-warehouse or other Information Management related technology.
Further responsibilities include:
- Manage a set of named customers to drive new sales and expand existing business
- Provide sales leadership
- Move sales opportunities to closure
- Work with other sellers and units of IBM as needed to create an effective solution for the client
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the clients industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry.
- At least 3-5 years of business to business sales and/or pre sales experience
- Some executive-level selling experience
- Consultative selling capability
- An outstanding ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution.
- Understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market
- Readiness to travel at least 25%
This role will support clients in one or more of the following industries: Banking, Healthcare, Energy and/or Utilities.
* At least 3 years experience in Sales
* Readiness to travel 25% travel annually
* English: Fluent
* Bachelor’s Degree
* At least 5 years experience in Sales
* At least 5 years experience in Software Sales
* At least 3 years experience in Information Management (IM) Products
* At least 2 years experience in Selling to one or more of the following industries: Banking, Healthcare, Energy and/or Utilities
