What to expect when working with Nexmation as a Recruitment Partner

We pride ourselves on not being a “Used Car Salesman” type of recruitment firm, and we do our best to avoid the stereotypical pitfalls that make you cringe when you hear the word “Recruiter”.

Why the experience of working with us is different:

1 – You will not deal with an arrogant recruiter.  We are good at what we do, but we aren’t going to try to “sell” you on some inflated image of ourselves as “super recruiters”.  We don’t have super-secret recruiting magic.  We are good because we take the time to learn about your company, your requirements, and then we work hard to do our job in a professional, consultative manner. We care about the relationship that we build with your company.

2 – When dealing with HR, we don’t view you as an “obstacle” to be overcome.  We like dealing with a direct hiring manager as well as the next recruiter, and it’s important to have open communication at all relevant levels throughout the search, but we respect your company’s internal process.

3 – We do our best to communicate realistic expectations.  Few things are more frustrating to a company than a recruiter that overpromises and under delivers.   When you hire an outside recruiter, you aren’t doing it to massage the recruiter’s ego; you are doing it because your company has a critical hiring need that deserves serious attention.  If we take a search assignment, we will do our best to communicate with you in order to make sure you know where we are in the search process, and if our results aren’t looking good, we’ll tell you,  and work with you to find a solution, instead of leaving you feeling abandoned.

4 – We respect, listen to, and adapt to your feedback.  When working with us, you will not be told you are wrong, treated as though you don’t understand your own business, or what is right for it.  When we ask you for feedback on a candidate, we may do additional work to clarify a point about his or her experience, but we will not try to sell you a candidate that is not a fit.

What should you expect at each stage of the process?

1-     When we first discuss your requirements, we usually have a phone call with the person or people in your company that is responsible for making the hiring decision in order to learn about your company the positions we will be recruiting for, and other factors that impact the hiring process.  Typically we are speaking with HR and future supervisors of the candidate to be hired.

2-     We will discuss ways in which we can work together, and execute a recruiting services agreement.

3-     We will actively follow up with our designated contacts within your company to further understand your hiring requirements, and make sure that we are performing a search which will accurately meet your needs.

4-     We will present pre-screened candidates to your company, and follow up with you for feedback on those candidates in order to make sure that we are doing our job and effectively meet your needs.

5-     As you request to interview specific candidates, we will coordinate and schedule interviewing activities between you and the candidates.  This typically includes scheduling phone screens, on-site interviews, and coordinating candidate travel arrangements.

6-     We will follow up with the interviewer as well as the candidate to gather feedback on both sides, and assist in clarifying any questions that either of you has post interview.

7-     We will assist you in presenting offers to candidates, negotiating salary and benefits, and making sure that the on-boarding process goes smoothly.

We will follow up with you and present you with a customer satisfaction survey in order to gather your feedback on how we did
